Three years ago, Ramdhanu began this journey with a simple dream: to help children and tribal women break free from limitations through the transformative power of art, skill, and self-expression.
In the heart of Kolkata, our older children create beautiful artworks – from vibrant paintings and delicate quilling to hand embroidery and crochet, expressing untold stories and quiet victories. Far away, in a remote tribal village, two women, who had never held a needle before, now run their own thriving tailoring and embroidery unit with confidence and pride.
Through Hopes & Hues, we offer dignity, opportunity, and hope – in every stitch, every brushstroke, every handmade creation. Their work, now showcased in vibrant fairs, seasonal markets, and prestigious exhibitions, earns them admiration, income, and respect. These children and women are artisans, earners, and change-makers, and Ramdhanu stands by them, helping them shape a future that is not only colourful, but courageous.
