In the quiet stretches of Murgaboni, Birbhum, childhood once unfolded without the certainty of classrooms, proper meals, or safe sanitation. What started as an emergency pandemic response in this underserved tribal village has evolved into a sustained, community-driven transformation rooted in dignity, access, and inclusion.
At Ramdhanu, we believe that opportunity should never be dictated by geography. A child growing up in the lanes of Kolkata and another in the tribal heartland of Birbhum deserve the same chance to dream without limits. Today, our day shelter stands as a home of possibility where education grows through shared meals, sports under open skies, and lessons that build lasting confidence.
Beyond Boundaries takes a community-driven approach — combining after-school education, vital sanitation infrastructure, and grassroots engagement to create sustained transformation in remote tribal villages.
Established a free after-school learning centre where children now study regularly under the guidance of trained local teachers, eliminating the need for a 5 km walk to the nearest school.
Renovated the local Anganwadi centre, installed fans for relief during harsh 42°C summers, and ensured consistent access to nutritious meals and hygiene items for toddlers and mothers.
Hosted regular village meetings, women’s awareness camps, and clothing drives to ensure that community voices remain central to every solution we build.
Because basic rights should never be a privilege. Join our movement to bring street children into classrooms and empower marginalized women to hold the future in their own hands.
